GOVERNANCE
Our board of directors
Nine directors lead the group, drawn from law, technology, investment and professional services — the same board that governs The Barrister Group. Executives sit alongside non-executive and investor directors, so strategy is set with the long view and held to commercial discipline.
Steven Weller
Steven chairs the board, bringing extensive experience of leading professional services and growth-stage businesses. He sets the governance agenda and works closely with the executive team on long-term strategy.
LinkedInEmily Foges
Emily leads New Chancery Lane as CEO. She built and sold one of the UK's leading legal AI businesses, and brings deep experience of growth-stage legal services to the network.
LinkedInKeiran Fleming
Keiran leads technology across the group. He is responsible for the platforms that underpin the network — including Chambers365 and VENTRiQ — so instructions, clerking, compliance and case management operate as one connected system.
LinkedInDaniel Strathearn
Daniel leads the group's financial function, overseeing finance, billing and the commercial discipline that supports continued growth and the network's standing as a credible long-term partner.

Stephen co-founded the group and leads its commercial function. His background as a senior barristers' clerk shapes how the network handles instructions, supports barristers and serves clients.

Christina is a leading figure in the legal profession and a former President of the Law Society of England and Wales, with extensive expertise in legal regulation, innovation and access to justice.
LinkedInHarry Hodgkin
Harry co-founded the group in 2001 after nearly four decades at the Bar. His experience as a practising barrister gave the group its founding instinct: exceptional legal expertise should be easier to access and better supported.
